Job Profile and Responsbilities:
Job involves co-ordination and day to day interaction on Engineering and construction issued with
customer, engineering team, subcontractors and other contractor staff;
Acting as prime contact with the Customer and secure engineering, procurement and construction
services from third party;
End-to-end responsibility for all the project process and utility packages, mechanical equipment
and instrumentation/electrical equipment from conception through to installation, commissioning
and handover.
To supervise the evaluation of Techno- Commercial Bids for process package and
equipment(mechanical, instrumentation and electrical) items ,check for the design conformance
and shall be requirement set by the customer, project documentation and the local regulation;
Responsible personnel in project management team to coordinate with other project participants
and responsible buyers in procurement department also confirms that the requirements of the
contract are being satisfied;
Preparation and issue various Management Control reports with a view to steer the project by
effectively implementing a Project Control and Monitoring System;
Preparation of project major (engineering/procurement and construction) issue log report for
management;
Resolution of site issues related to engineering, procurement and makes sure the timely delivery
of material to construction site;
Ensures that contractors works in accordance with Company standards and procedures, and
maintain appropriate crew operator qualification standards;
Manage schedules and coordinates the construction activities with other appropriate areas.
Ensures that construction action plans are kept up-to-date and communicate to the construction
team and other subcontractor for prioritization of workload.
Identifies and implements process and procedure changes related to customer- and Companygenerated
processes that result in increased efficiencies.
Ensures that resources and workloads are balanced, ensuring that projects are appropriately
planned, prioritized and executed.
Preparation of Project Execution Master Plan;
Resource planning/ optimization;
Preparation and monitor equipment mobilisation and demobilisation plan;
Feed back to estimation department during the preparation of claims for extra works;
Monitoring progress to maintain schedules and budgets;
Evaluate, organise and prioritise workload within a schedule;
Feedback to tenders and proposal department during bidding and estimation for new projects ;
Developing the scope of work, and help in developing schedules, and budgets for the assigned
project elements;
Interaction and coordination with multidisciplinary team of engineers and specialist to check and
review the package and collect feedback;
Monitor timely generation and submission of project deliverables for client’s review and approval;
To assist in pre-award techno-commercial package preparation, review of offers and approval for
contracting or procurement;
Coordination with multi-disciplinary Engineering team, Monitor all Vendor Data and deliverables,
arrange Inter Discipline Check (IDC) and monitor Comments Resolution Sheet (CRS);
Involved in review of Process Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, design
Philosophy, simulation reports and all process reports & philosophies;
Review of Cause & Effect matrix, checking for validation and establishing acceptance criteria;
Review of process parameters and design with simulation software Hysis 6.2;
Finalisation of automation and SCADA scope and resolve the interfacing issues in between units
and control room;
Review of 3D Model and highlight the clashes in design to the subcontractor;
Engineering supports to the Pre-commissioning and Commissioning team;
Conduct meetings on commissioning coordination with start-up team and client’s representative;
Perform the tasks of developing commissioning plans, schedules, project start-up, and other field
work;
Hands on experience in inter-departmental coordination & supervision of various precommissioning
& commissioning activities along with Process Equipment Licenser, conducting
inspections and walk-downs, systems handover from construction to commissioning eventually to
owner after performance testing, etc.
To Check the functionality Test of the Equipment;
To monitor loop check, equipment check-out and process commissioning during precommissioning
and commissioning of plant;
Preparation of the As-built mark ups on the P&IDs and the Isometric drawings based on the
modifications or changes carried out during the erection of the process equipment & piping;
